Get Brainy on the Cheap

It’s tough to come off as an intellectual when your bookshelves have more South Park DVD’s and Metallica CD’s than actual books. That’s why tomorrow I’ll be shopping at the book sale running from 10 to 4 at the DC Public Library’s Georgetown branch, located at R Street and Wisconsin. Library sales are the best — for what you’d pay for a paperback at chain store you can walk out with an armload of hardcover classics. Plus this library is a wi-fi hotspot and even has Book Hill Park, a grassy hill with lots of benches and a view of Georgetown and Virginia.
