B8 Bus Under Fire in Northeast

Two rounds were fired into a B8 Bus in Northeast DC by a youth with a revolver, according to NBC 4 News this evening. Police are looking for a male teenager around age 16 of medium build and height (could you guys really be more specific?) who is armed. No one was injured, but this story is still developing.

A dump truck was shot at earlier today near 395 (or maybe 495, I forget) and everyone involved took pains not to say “sniper”.

Seems there may be one now.

By definition, a kid with a revolver isn’t a sniper.

They’re now saying the kid broke the bus window with the gun, then put the gun in the bus window and fired off two rounds.

Young man – 16 – medium build and height. got it. I will be on the lookout.

Come on – this is child’s play, having just moved from Worcester, MA. We eat this type of thing for breakfast. It was rarely an issue because up there only economically disadvantaged people rode the bus. Seriously, he was probably trying to get someone in particular, not commit a random crime. Not that it matters a lot to the people on the bus at the time.

Or it could have been one of those people passed up by the bus the other day, that someone on the blog wrote about.

Wait – there are actualy buses in Worcester? Come, come now, all the elderly people would probably still have been at the Park St. Diner eating breakfast.

Tom – have there been any more developments on this?
