Don’t you think this countdown of the Top 25 Fictional DC Resident is a little much? Perhaps a listing and the links to another site for people to read the profiles would have been suffice?

Certainly it’s DC-related but there must be more going on in DC than just fictional characters in movies not everyone has seen, eh.

Am I the only one that feels this way?

    Hi Maggie,

I’m sorry that you’re not enjoying our feature. DC’s played host to many fictional characters over the years, and I thought this would be a way to highlight all the different ways that DC has contributed to the media culture.

There is a lot going on in DC today, and we’ve highlighted the St. Regis hotel sale, the departure of Michael A Brown from the mayoral race, and the appearance of Dunkin Donuts in DC. There is a lot of stuff going on in DC, but we’re covering a lot of as well as highlighting our city’s cultural heritage.

We’re not actually a blog about what’s going on in DC. We’re a blog about people who live in DC. See also: http://bodemediainc.com/news/?p=14 for a fuller exploration.
