User Experience Week

adaptive path
Washington area Web developers should find User Experience Week interesting. Running from Monday, August 14th through the 17th at Hotel Palomar (map), the conference is sponsored by Adaptive Path.

I probably will not attend, as I am more of a programmer than designer and I can’t really afford it. If I was to pick one day however, it would definitely be Thursday the 17th. Barbara Brennan will be presenting Designing America by Air, an in-depth look at the implementation of interactive and multi-media programs that enhance exhibition content at the National Air and Space Museum. The afternoon will wrap up the week with a rare behind the scenes tour of the Smithsonian Paul E. Garber Facility for Preservation, Restoration, and Storage, where the Museum builds and repairs its exhibits (normally closed to public). America by Air content is also available online.

More details about UX Week are available at Upcoming.org.
