I don’t know what to make of this one…

Okay, my Spanish may not be great but it’s good enough to get the joke in L.A. Story when they go on vacation at “Pollo de Mar,” Chicken of the Sea. So when we drove past “Crazy Chicken,” a seafood restaurant, I had to wonder. Irony? A transition in business direction? Or is the chicken there just that bad that they started just telling people it’s actually fish…

If I saw a chicken in the sea, I’d say that it was pretty crazy.

Don’t bother trying to find Matt’s commentary on “super chicken and the immigration battle.”

His gist: “I don’t know how to order something at a place where they don’t make you stand in line and order by “combo #s” and are polite enough to wait for you to tell them when you’re ready to order. Hmmm, must be a problem with Spanish speaking cultures.

Speaking of Peruvian cuisine – El Flor de la Canela in Gaithersburg is excellent. And even though they specialize in potatoes (per Siestema), don’t eat the potatoes, esp. not the ones covered in velveeta. That’s just rank. Try the tripe (rachi) – it’s excellent.

The commentary is contained specifically in the “associated comments” that I mentioned. I hope people will decide for themselves whether to bother reading posts and comments, rather than letting Ramu or anyone else decide that for them.
