AC At Dremo’s?!
Say it ain’t so. Except, well, today’s email from Dr. Dremo’s in Arlington suggests that “It’s true! You gotta experience it to believe it. Beat the summer heat @ Dr. Dremo’s”
AC at Dremo? Holy crap, that might make it worth saving! Have you been since the new unit was installed? How is it?
I thought Dremo’s was supposed to close down??
Who cares about Virginia or what’s going on there? It’s the matrix … everyone is asleep and everyone looks the same.

Mik: if you peep their website, you’ll find that the landlord has yet to get approval from the city to develop the property into yet another high-rise condo facility.
WPK: The same could be said of DC. Dremo’s is the best dang dive bar in the area (and probably the most interesting beer bar, too).
Hey, I was at Dremo’s a few days back and I can tell you the place much cooler with the new AC. You can tell the difference.
I do hope the place stays around for awhile because, I agree, it’s one of the most interesting bars in DC (one of those places where not everyone looks the same) and it has one of the greatest tap selections anywhere (yes, that includes Brickskeller because the vast majority of its selection is in bottles).
