Sacramento Metblogs is the 49th city to be launched by the gang at Metblogs. The Californian capital is the 4th Californian city to be introduced to the Metblogs network. The River City, popular during the gold rush of 1846 is home to both the Kings and the Monarchs, (2006 WNBA Champs).
Stop by and say hello to our friends in Sacramento, learn a little bit about the city, and if you feel the need, suggest a story or two. Back in the day, I had a swank little apartment in Dupont Circle and a housemate from Sac-town, as she would call Sacramento, CA. She apparently came from quite the colorful family.
In the midst of her youth split between several sets of parents, one of them purchased a houseboat. From her description, I pictured a serious two-story affair, which after a crazy attempt to repair it and years of neglect, it sank in the middle of the river.
