Confirming a recent rumor posted on DCRTV.com, The Post’s Reliable Source colulmn reports that M Street bar Sign of the Whale has been sold to Mike O’Meara and John Contrell. The two business partners already own O’Mearas Restaurant & Pub in Manassas and plan to make Sign of the Whale the next O’Mearas.

O’Meara partners with Don Geronimo on the syndicated Don & Mike Show, broadcast locally on WJFK-FM. He entered the restuarant business in 2004.
