america

For some reason, these fireworks ring hollow for me this year. I’m ashamed of how we’ve come to be perceived in the world.

It must be exhausting carrying such a burden, and looking for the worst when we celebrate the best.

She expressed her honest opinion, Krempasky, simply and unguardedly, regardless of its popularity or unpopularity.

    Now that’s the American spirit.

as did I, albeit a heck of a lot more reservedly.

I don’t think my comment was unreserved at all. I do not carry a burden, nor am i exhausted, nor am i unpatriotic. I disagree entirely with what we are doing and the harm we are causing around the world. I would hope always to look for the best but I can’t make up a reasonable foreign policy where none exists.

Where have you been living these last four years, Tom? Being critical of America’s direction or actions is treason. Why do you and Trudy both hate America?

Well I know my American side of me was celebrating liberation from the British side of me yesterday….now where’s the Guinness?
