3.141592… well, that’s all I can recite of the ever-looming middle school lesson on our friend pi. And at that I had to just go look it up and make sure I was right at six numbers. Not this Virginia student who recited over 10,000 digits recently and now ranks himself ninth in the world (and first in North America) at being able to recite the most digits of pi.

Ok so that’s an amazing feat of memorization and study – but I wonder if he ever just feels like, oh, playing outside or shooting a few hoops instead…
