washtimes.com discovers 24-hour news cycle

Oh look at the little red timestamps next to the article abstracts — washtimes.com is now updating throughout the day, instead of just once every morning. Let’s welcome the folks at 3600 New York Ave NE to the late 1990s!

To be fair, it is really doubtful that washtimes.com has any aspirations of going head to head with washingtonpost.com, wtopnews.com and the TV station sites for breaking news audiences. The entire newspaper exists as Rev. Sun Myung Moon’s pet project to make sure there is a “conservative” newspaper in the nation’s capital. If he were in it to make money (which apparently the Times never has) he probably would have made the obvious switch to a tabloid format 15 years ago.

Moon created the Washington Times to bring our nation to a hard right theocratic governance and he did it. He brags about doing it.

The billions he used to do it with was swindled from the Japanese, targeting widows.
