college kids, Adams Morgan, and springtime… what could go wrong?

Now, it has always seemed to me that college is the time for doing stupid things. So it causes me no consternation or offense when a famous college-age figure gets drunk and acts like a jackass in public, whether it’s the Bush daughters or Euan Blair.

But it’s worth pointing out the difference between American college kids and British college kids. When the waitress refuses to take their shit, the British kid backs down. The American kid starts a fight and the police are called.

That’s because us Brits have class to go along with our infamous potty mouths.

I don’t get it. How does the Wash Times or UPI title figure into Blair’s son getting rowdy story?

It doesn’t, I just forgot to fix the auto-title my blog editor applied to the story.
