What, you don’t have anything to do on Tuesday night? I know, me either. Wait a second – you DO have plans already! You’re going to the Hurricane Happy Hour to help Katrina victims rebuild homes destroyed by the storms of 2005. And why in the world are you going? Here’s just a few of the reasons:

a) one of your fabulous Metroblogging DC writers (and six of her pals) are going on the trip
b) a bunch of your favorite Metroblogging DC writers will also be in attendance, and, as you can see, when they get together they are fun with a capital F
c) it’s an awesome way to donate to a great cause. These people in New Orleans have little or nothing left, and eight months later are just now gutting their homes, or are starting to rebuild. We can’t forget about them – they need our help.
d) because Don- and his next victim- are going to party is up like it’s January 2006
