Rally Front Page

Someone accused me of not being much of a photographer. Later, I ditched him. I’m only joking W. This one did turn out pretty good though. It was an amazing afternoon in DC.

Well it did take you about six tries to get this shot right.

Yup, of course I’m only used to my own little pocket rocket camera. And like most photographers (I am for sure an amateur), you usually do have to take boatloads of them before one comes out ok.

Something went haywire with my GPS, still trying to figure out why I can’t get the data off of it. But if you want to geotag the shot I took from your shoulders, it’s really easy.

If you have a box with Google Earth installed, here’s an example of one on Flickr that will take you right to the location:

    National Building Museum

In the caption, there is a “Fly to” link.

“Flying” into the Mall would be really cool, because of the open space. Try it on the NBM pic, you’ll see what I mean.

Hey Wayan, I showed someone that picture you had Doug take for you and he asked me to show you this one.

I don’t understand. What part of “Illegal Immigration” is it that these people don’t understand?

    Go home.

Agh! You found me out! I am a US citizen by parental citizenship instead of birthplace.

Damn, and there I was thinking that citizenship should mean something like knowledge of American history, fluency in American English, and economic self-sufficiency instead of where you happened to pop outta Mom.

Oh and just for the record, even the American Indians were immigrants once.

This isn’t a political blog Jack, we’re simply covering events.

I was at this rally, and was really moved…have posted something about it on my own blog — check it if you like.
