Now that was fun!

And now it begins

If you were just outside, even for a moment, I hope you have a towel and dry clothes. For those indoors, I hope you were near a window. The rain, wind, and light show from that front passing are quite a sight.

From my apartment window, the clouds rolled through in a wave, the rain came instantly, and now the night is punctuated with flashes of lightening.

Thanks for the fun, Mother Nature.

It was amazing here too…flashes of light, far away thunder, big fat raindrops….my husband tells me this is what the East Coast is like.

I love when there’s a quick hard rain b/c Spout run and it’s mini waterfalls and hills get mini floods (not in the streets) and you can pretend your in nature for just a second as you pass it. It only happens occassionally, but seeing it today made me happy!!

Last night’s storm made me miss the tropics where Mother Nature gives a daily show of power around 4pm. Big thunderclouds roll across the land, soaking those under them and impressing those still dry.
