Baseball schadenfreude

As disappointing as the the Nats loss tp the Mets earlier today was, D.C. baseball fans can take solace in this nugget from DCRTV.com:

Opening day for the Baltimore Orioles and – guess what – no DC market TV (50, 66, or CSN). Folks south of the Patuxent River had to put up rabbit ears for Charm City Channel 13 (not carried by any DC area cable systems). What’s up with that? Hmmm…..

This was probably the first time in over thirty years that Baltimore’s baseball team was not on a D.C. station. This is a wonderful turn of events because O’s owner Peter Angelo$ extorted acquired the Nats TV rights and has since kept millions of viewers from being able to see most of the games. Finally, some karma swings back at him, if only for a day.
