Tulips are up, azaleas are blooming... you get the picture. Yesterday I dragged a friend from out of town here on business for the weekend down the Tidal Basin thinking that there would be an explosion of blooms because I heard on the radio and read in the paper that today the blossoms were going to be at peak AND it was sooo way off. Bummer. What a disappointment!
