Congrats on running the first National Marathon. I'm sure it was covered, and I saw that NBC4 was one of the sponsors of the race. I just can't believe I missed it in the Washington Post.... Again, congrats, Bex.

Actually, there has been lots of coverage of the Nat'l Marathon on NBC Channel 4 as well as the Washington Post and other news outlets.

The marathon was a great experience, and a good way to showcase the less-touristy sides of Washington and parts of PG County. We got to see the waterfront and lots of friendly folks (although also some angry motorists) as well as monuments and even open fields.

I was thinking the same thing when I heard about the announcement today. And since I am always hooked into the news radio stations it seems most odd. But they had a full turnout and it was their first year, perhaps it will be more publicized next year.
