Nats Home Opener: Plenty of good seats available

We are three weeks away from the second opening day (April 11, 1:05 p.m. vs. Mets) in the nation’s capital in modern times and there are still tickets available. Lots of them. As in you can get six tickets together on the first base side of the upper deck.

Sure, the whole off-season has been a gigantic fustercluck between the District and MLB but that got finally resolved. No, there has not been any marketing at all. Yes, the team’s general manager, Jim Bowden (file photo), is an incompetent, raging egomaniac, but what could be more fun than chanting “FI-RE BOW-DEN” when you should be at work?

Even Bob Short’s Senators could sell out opening day; let’s not drop the ball on this one. Buy your tickets online or save yourself the awful service fees by heading straight to the RFK box office.
