Blue Room is closing! Or is it metamorphosing?

According to the almighty GOGs, the owners have decided to expand the popular first floor Bourbon, so expect more of the laidback gastropub feel upstairs than the current intimate nightclub atmosphere. Though I like Bourbon I’m sad to see Blue Room go. Your last chance to enjoy is April 3 - then it will reopen as the new space on April 21.

For a proper farewell, you could blow it out next Wednesday the 29th at Medusa’s All-Cure Party and say good-bye to that beautiful bar. Maybe they won’t change its striking orange and blue motif, but somehow I have a feeling they will in favor of the sleek Asian/Mid-Century Modern hybrid that distinguishes downstairs.

Ah well, nothing stays the same. I blame it all on turning thirty-five.
