for the past couple of weeks i’ve been seeing funny flyers for a “takoma pork” party that mock the inane “silver sprung” logo, but no one seemed to know what this “takoma pork” is. today i found out that “takoma pork” is takoma park’s own answer to “the onion” and it’s pretty hilarious. not that it’s hard to find things to mock about takoma park… it’s really a goldmine of comic material.

i particularly enjoyed the “extreme porkover.”
