We’re baaack…

Campaign ads, that is. We had the Virginia gubernatorial race in 2005, and now it’s Maryland’s turn. According to this Gazette article, Doug Duncan is trailing far behind in fundraising and is expected to go negative to “narrow the gap” with Baltimore Mayor Martin O’Malley. I’ve always loved the logic in politics – close the gap by destroying your primary opponent, giving the opposition in the general election plenty of dirt to run with. I suppose Bob Ehrlich is just sitting back smiling at all of this….
