Let’s make the ban more permanent…
A committee in the Virginia House of Delegates approved a proposal for a constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage. State law already bans gay marriages in Virginia, but this move would make it more permanent! Oh, and it would also clearly establish that the Commonwealth will not recognize any type of gay union or marriage from any other states. The proposal now heads to the general assembly for a full vote, and if approved, will go onto the ballot in November for final approval.
Well the division is clear now:
DC: Gays are cool, elect one
VA: Jail them all!
DC: No guns, love your neighbour
VA: Shoot them all!
DC: Don’t smoke, health matters
VA: Kill them all!
I heart Virginia.
