The Canadia boss here - the immigration thing is wrong on a couple of levels:

1. The questions your raise regarding voter rolls and said supposed "non-U.S. citizens" in the jury pool. Huh?

2. If you think that Arlington County is bad, I can top you one - Honolulu. When I lived there (and didn't even have a GREEN CARD at the time) I was asked to report for jury duty. Umm, no. I was likely pulled from the DMV list but I didn't register to vote!

Send the Minuteman to Hawaii!

Which reminds me... I need to take care of my registration. I tried to do it through the DMV, but I got a letter back saying that they didn't have proof of my citizenship (even though I presented my birth certificate when applying for the licence, go figure).

If the Herndon Minutemen hear about this they'll be camped outside the courthouse watching these folks. Or they would if they were willing to get off their lazy asses and drive to Arlington, which I am skeptical they would be...

Makes me wonder how many are registered to vote, as I type it.

If you get a chance, ask the DA about the whole voter rolls thing, because that makes me really, really wonder.
