DC activates hypothermia hotlline

We went from a very mild November, with temperatures reaching the 70 degree mark (63 at night even!), to the arctic blast that marked the start of December and DC has now activated their hypothermia hotline. If you see a homeless person exposed to the elements at night, call (800) 535-7252 and a van will be sent to either transfer the person to a shelter, or provide blankets and warm food. Here are the hotline numbers for the areas surrounding DC.
