The Girl and I make deco-style mirrors, which you can see at NiceMirror.com, though we have just added some emm-holiday decorations and lamps which are not yet pictured on the website.

Don, Don, Don. Clearly we need to teach you about marketing. You have now twice mentioned that you are a vendor and yet still completely failed to tell us what it is that you are vend-ing. Spill it! Don't make potential customers work for this information!

Two additional places to look for holliday gifts: Bethesda Women's Co-op Market (located on Wisconsin Ave 2 blocks south of the metro) and Dupont Circle Farmers Market (on 20th between Mass. and Q). Bethesda Women's Co-op is open Wednesday's, Friday's and Saturday's. Lots of great jewlery finds at very reasonable prices. Also a good place for seasonal plants and wreaths. Dupont Circle Farmers Market is open on Sunday's. Lots of organic soaps, lip baums, and a limited number of crafts. Also a great place for food gifts -- jams, perserves, artisanal cheeses, wacky gourds and the like! And in full disclosure, I work for a veggie vendor at Dupont and am not above shameless self promotion :-)

I'm used to playing by MetaFilter rules, I guess :) Doesn't matter - I'll be at the new Holiday market on Saturdays and continuing to show at Eastern Market on Sundays. Getting attention to any of them helps my cause overall.

You know, if you are indeed a vendor there, it's okay to say so in your post. Double points if it's accompanied by some snarky and self-referential remark about being a shameless plug.

Well I have personally motivated reasons for thinking that Saturday is the best day to go to the new market :) but supposedly there's some kind of grand opening celebration on Friday at Noon.

According to the space assignments spreadsheet they sent out to us vendors for the coming week only 1 in 10 will be there all 4 days, making for a lot of variation from day to day.

Thanks Don, I was just trying to find out when that market at the old convention center site was opening!

City dwellers can also get your Christmas/Holiday/Yuletide/Saturnalia/Whatever-it-is-to-you (ok, let's just say Tannenbaum) Tree at the Garden District at the corner of 14th and S Streets...
