Places Not To Hang Out

With 50,000 angry women (and the 50,000 college guys pretending to be angry so they can get laid) descending upon the city for protests this weekend, you might be thinking, so what exactly is DC going to do about it?

The answer is: close streets. But the good thing is, the Post is there with a handy map to tell you where to avoid in the city this weekend due to IMF/World Bank protests or the Anti-War march or the Book Festival, or the SegwayFest, or…

so all protestors are “angry” and guys that go to protests just want to be laid? that’s pretty stupid and unamerican don’t you think?…or maybe it’s perfectly american because if you see what our popular television reality shows are, all they do is make fun of people and point out ridiculous stereotypes…out

Most of the protestors I knew in college fit that exact description, J-Sin. Change doesn’t come from eight foot tall guys in uncle sam suits on stilts in front of the White House.

that’s a ridiculous statement and stereotype and far from the truth and you know it…or you would know it if you ever went to any protest…I went to the protests today and found that 25% of the protestors were over the age of 30 and I saw only one fella on stilts and he wasn’t wearing an uncle sam shirt…I guess you’d fit the stereotype of arrogant, righteous blogger, both boastfully and yawningly barfing on about meaningless drivel while padding yourself on the back at such “poignant commentary”…and yes I think it’s extremely unamerican to cast aside people who want to express their opinions and thoughts…while I certainly don’t agree with the people who were the “pro-war protestors” (or whatever moniker that they prefer), their opinions still matter and you won’t find me casting them off as all heartless war mongering “college guys wanting to get laid”…but thanks for the funny laugh…out

I think the pro-war guys are just as bad, J-sin, I just think giant rallies don’t mean a lot to this government. *shrug* sorry you didn’t get laid this weekend, man ;)
