Drinking in the Sun

Woohoo! It’s Friday before Labor Day weekend, and if you’re lucky like me, you only have half-day to work before its all play. Then again, if you’re really lucky you’re already playing.

For those set to be released at noon or 2 pm, I say we start the party promptly at 2:01 pm. I’m thinking an outdoor patio with cheap booze – say Fox and Hounds or something similar – hopefully with WiFI.

Any ideas? Willing participants?

Later, its off to Darpino’s DJ Metblog experience.

What do you use to do these posts-from-the-bar emm road, Wayan? I half miss my old Sidekick (but not the horrid T-Mobile coverage & service) and am always tempted by the various mobile gadgets…

Sadly, I am stuck working until at least 3 today, and then I need to go home and inspect my nearly-completed bathroom…

I wish I were using something like this, the hot OQO but alas, I have a HP Tablet PC which is cool in its own right. Oh and if I’m out of WiFi range, which happens annoyingly often, I whip out my Geekcorps BottleNet.

Ya gotta love early dismissal. I’m now tossing back Brooklyn Heffe Weizen at the Big Hunt, free of work and on free WiFi. Nice to be sipping before 5 for once. Now don’t be shy – join! I have the joe-cool window table.

I just love hearing about how much fun people are having while I’m stuck in an office.

It’s now 6:04 and time for you to leave, JennB, no matter how important things might seem. Come Tuesday, work will still be there but this Friday night will not be. See you at DJ Metblog at least?
