If you read this before you head out to work, be aware that Metro will be taking extra precautions to monitor the 106 miles of track that it uses. New York City has instituted the use of random bag searches and based on its success, WMATA may employ the same tactics to try and prevent any occurences here of what has happened in London.

Metro conducted a search over its entire network last night, although it did not specify what for, or how they were going about it. So, here’s a quick reminder. Don’t look suspicious and don’t do anything out of the ordinary.
