Don’t Forget: Fort Reno Concert Tonight

Back in the day, when folks were proud to be harDCore, someone dreamed up the idea to take punk shows outdoors. Skip forward a few years, like 37, add in rockers now parents, and you have a worthy DC summer event: Shows at Fort Reno

Shows at Fort Reno are held every Monday and Thursday. They begin promptly at 7:15pm and end at 9:30pm. Occasionally, shows get delayed or canceled due to weather conditions. The shows are free, all ages are welcome and alcoholic beverages are not allowed.

This Monday, its Q and Not U and Son of Nun.

Like a night out with Screen on the Green, be sure to bring a picnic dinner and good vibes. Unlike the Party Scene Screen on the Green don’t even think of bringing a bottle of wine. No alcohol or glass allowed, and they’re mighty strict about that too.

Kids though, they’re all about kids from toddlers to teens, so bring ’em if you got ’em.

This will be one of Q an not U’s final shows. They are calling it quits in the fall.
