Survey Says

Survey USA just released it’s poll results which ranked the approval of the governors of all 50 states. Yes, I am well aware that the District does not have a governor.

But your friendly neighborhood governors made a decent showing. Mark Warner, Alexandria native, did rather well coming in at 6th, while Maryland’s Bob Ehrlich came in at 28th. And I can only imagine that the Kountry Klub Kontroversy of last week wouldn’t have helped his numbers. Nor will his bulldozing of the ICC project, which he now brings one step closer to actually happening.

Area Sentors had a very pedestrian showing. Maryland’s Barbara Mikulski’s approval ratings were good enough for 33rd. George Allen and John Warner both ranked 59th. And Paul Sarbannes of Maryland came in at 65.

Just thought you should know what your fellow citizens think of their elected officials. Bowtie isn’t the only show in town, you know…
