Bumper Cars

According to Allstate Insurance you don’t have to go to one of our area amusement parks to play bumper cars anymore. You can do it right on the Beltway.

In a recent survey of 196 large US cities, Washington DC ranked dead last in motorist safety. According to the survey which compares Allstate internal insurance claims to National accident statistics – DC has the worst drivers in the United States. With all of us having “a chance of a fender bender once every 5.2 years.”

The State Troopers can put their Night Vision goggles away, reading stories like this should convince all of us to buckle up around the District.

But not in Cedar Rapids Iowa, oh no, in Cedar Rapids I’ll be driving beltless, heck maybe I’ll even pull a few “look ma, no hands!”

Wheeeeeeee. Gotta love this town. Of course, some folks wanna blame us VA drivers for it. I got two words for them, and neither are politic ;)
