Senator Sightings
I got to see Sen. Robert Byrd, the oldest Senator serving, at the International Trade Commission the other day in SW. Boy is he old. He was just waiting for Strom to kick the bucket so he could be old-king. Anyway, he gave a speach about protecting the U.S. steel industry, which mainly had to do with Jesus and the benefits of hard work.
Anyway, that brings my senator sightings up to two. Narni and I are having an informal, yet surprisingly formal, senator sighting contest. Take that, Narni Therese.
Don’t have many Senators but I did once forced then Rep. Bob Barr to nervously walk faster and glance at my with an annoyed look when he was crossing the street. Dude, I had the right of way.
I ran bodily into Newt Gingrich a few years ago. Totally whack.
Unless I’m missing something, Strom already kicked the bucket.
ha ha ha… i’ll take that challenge. actually, are we extending this to celebrities? i saw Joe Pantoliano http://imdb.com/name/nm0001592/ at dulles airport…and yes, he was wearing that cap!
I had a better seat than Al Gore at a performance at Wolftrap when he was Veep.
