Safety first

It’s rainy season right now, so I thought I’d just say please, please, please use your headlights while driving in the rain in this area. It’s the law, it’s common sense, and it’s just plain smart. It’s especially smart on the Beltway, with so many people around. Also, wear your seatbelt, use your turn signals, and eat your vegetables.

And if you drive too fast on the GW Parkway and get in an accident, backing it up for miles, if the accident doesn’t kill you, I will. ;)

THANK YOU! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!!!
That is probably one of my biggest pet peeves while driving and probably a contributing factor in a lot of accidents. It kills me that people don’t think to turn on their headlights when it’s gray and rainy out.
Although, I was told this weekend that people with day-running lamps have to manually turn on their headlights in the rain; while they/you can see their front lights, their rear lights aren’t “on” unless manually turned on.
